New Zapier fields, New tools to create products within estimates, and more
December was a busy month of development! Here's what we worked on:
- Zapier
- We added new endpoints and fields to the Zapier integration. Users can now control the scope of the integration. You can have the integration apply to only 1 user's actions or to any user within the account.
- We are also adding fields to pull Opportunity tags and Salespersons into Zapier.
- Orders
- We refined our orders access rights to allow users to go through the project creation with queued up orders from the estimates.
- We refined the orders to allow users without vendor products in Poologics to create orders on demand and send them to vendors.
- CRM
- When an opportunity is changed to the "Won" stage, a button to "Create Project" appears.
- Estimates / Proposals
- We've improved the workflow around creating new products from within an estimate.

- We've added functionality that would allow the user to change the salesperson "owner" / point of contact of the estimate.
- We fixed an issue related to removing a price group from an estimate
- We spent time working through how proposal groups are edited from within an estimate, how that interacts with the settings, and how that relates to the proposal.
- We've spent a great deal of time focusing on content blocks in the proposal "portal" view and how that renders in the pdfs.
- Mobile
- We created a custom view of the CRM pipeline for mobile users.
- We're working through the Android app release.
- Financials
- Receivables / Bills / Credit Notes
- From within these records, we've made it easier to edit or delete the underlying payment record if an error was made.
- If the original contract amount is not in balance with the receivables, the banner will now take into account any credits made against the outstanding balance. The banner will fire if the total amount due is not in balance with receivables net of credit notes.
- Added a new filter in the master bills table
- Closing Budgets
- Fixed an issue related to budgets not closing properly and updating the "Remaining Budget" field in Financials
- Health Status
- When a late payment is applied to a receivable, the delinquent tag will be removed from the project's health status. A recent update disrupted this procedure, but it's working again.
- Receivables / Bills / Credit Notes
- Heritage
- We've fully implemented the Heritage Shipping API, which allows users to receive shipping updates on products they've ordered from Heritage.
- Refinements from the last large release.
- The last release of November included Zapier, Proposal Groups, PoolScape Proposals, the Heritage integration, mobile, and work/purchase orders. With so much going live, we spent additional time talking to clients and refining some of these workflows.
