How to Create a Project

How to pull your opportunity data into the project file or create a project on the fly

Congratulations! You have a signed proposal or contract. This article will cover two main use cases for how to create a project.

 

From the Opportunity

If your team is actively working on the sale from the CRM Pipeline, then it's important that you create a project from the opportunity. If you create the project from the Opportunity, all of the meeting notes, communication logs, and attachments will automatically migrate into the project file. No loss of context should happen from the transition from Opportunity to Project -- the project file is now the single source of truth for that customer. 

How to Create a Project From an Opportunity
